PennDOT has announced upcoming public meetings for the U.S. 30 Bypass Reconstruction Project, a major infrastructure initiative that could significantly impact traffic flow, safety, and long-term growth across Chester County and surrounding communities.

Upcoming Public Meetings

Residents, commuters, and property owners are invited to learn more about the project through two public engagement opportunities:

  • Virtual Public Meeting: Thursday, January 15

  • In-Person Open House & Plans Display: Tuesday, January 20

These meetings will focus on the U.S. 30 Eastern Project Area and provide an overview of proposed roadway and interchange improvements.

What the Project Includes

The project team will present:

  • Selected alternatives for the U.S. 30 mainline

  • Proposed improvements to the Reeceville Road, Route 340, and U.S. 322 interchanges

  • Revised alternatives for the Norwood Road and Route 113 interchanges

This effort is part of a broader, multi-phase plan to upgrade approximately 14.5 miles of the U.S. 30 (Coatesville–Downingtown Bypass) corridor.
