Exciting news for Bucks County homebuyers — Middletown Township has officially approved plans for a 34-townhome development at the former Knights of Columbus property, located at 1492 Woodbourne Road in the Levittown section of the township.

The project, led by W.B. Homes, marks the first development approved under Middletown Township’s amended zoning ordinance, which allows townhomes to be built in the Professional Zoning District — as long as 20% of the homes are considered “attainable” for buyers.

The proposed community will feature six multi-unit buildings on a 3.8-acre site, with four buildings including six homes each, and two featuring five homes each. Every unit will come equipped with a one-car garage and a two-car driveway, offering both comfort and convenience for future residents.

While the market value of the townhomes is projected to exceed $500,000, seven homes will be sold to Habitat for Humanity for approximately $365,000 each. Habitat for Humanity will oversee the sale of these attainable units, ensuring that they remain affordable for Bucks County residents or workers who meet eligibility requirements for years to come.

This project represents a promising step forward in Middletown Township’s efforts to balance new development with housing affordability, offering modern living options while maintaining accessibility for local residents.
